Network Orientation and Gnome Training Sessions for New and Continuing Students

Technical and Information Services (TIS) offers the following training sessions:

  • Rensselaer's H art ford campus (RAH) Network Orientation for New Users: The workshop provides an overview of the RAH network and applications, login IDs and passwords, dial-up access, PC classrooms, the Internet, and more. Highly re com mended for all new students.
  • Introduction to Gnome on Sun Workstations - Hands-On Workshop for New Users: Gnome is the graphical user interface for the Sun workstations. This session demonstrates several Gnome tools and features. If you will be programming on the Sun workstations, this session will save you tim e.
