Rensselaer at Hartford Adds Two Appointments in Marketing Department

HARTFORD, CONN – Gregory Sparzo, of Cheshire, was appointed Senior Program Manager, and Michael Bozzi, of Middletown, was named Program Manager in the Marketing Department at Rensselaer's Hartford Campus.

Mr. Sparzo is responsible for the marketing, sales, and customer development of non-degree programs at Rensselaer, working to help expand Rensselaer's Professional Development programs and corporate partnerships for education and training. He is also an adjunct professor at the Rensselaer Hartford Campus teaching entrepreneurship, marketing, and strategy classes in the Lally School of Management and Technology. Mr. Sparzo is a Rensselaer alumnus having earned an M.S. in Management in 1993. His background includes work experience at GE, Eastman Kodak, and as an entrepreneur management consultant in his own firm where he served large and small companies helping to develop and implement their sales programs and initiatives and to build and train sales forces. Mr. Sparzo taught as a member of the Rensselaer adjunct faculty from 1995 to 2000, and then resumed teaching in 2006.

Mr. Bozzi is responsible for recruiting students into Rensselaer's International Scholars Program (ISP) as well as helping to craft the marketing strategy and message for the program. Prior to joining Rensselaer, he worked as a Graduate Programs Manager for Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions, helping college students get into Medical, Law, Graduate and Business Schools. He earned a B.S. in Communication from Central Connecticut State University.
