The Journal of Business in Developing Nations is a combined
effort of dedicated scholars throughout the world, including
an
Editorial Review Board whose members are
based on six continents. It was founded at the North Carolina
Central University School of Business by Dr. John A. Parnell,
who was its Editor for volumes 1 and 2 (1997 and 1998).
It moved with him to Texas A&M University-Commerce College
of Business & Technology. (He has since moved to the
University of North Carolina at Pembroke.) For volume 3 (1999),
the Editor was Dr. David H. Kent and the host was Golden
Gate University School of Business.
Begining in the fall of
2000, the JBDN's host is the
Lally School of Management
and Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
at Hartford, and the Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Peter W. Schroth.
Beginning in 2007, we also have an Associate Editor, Dr. John E. Spillan,
who was then at Pennsylvania State University - DuBois, but moved in 2008 to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
The Journal of Business in Developing
Nations is listed in Cabell's Directory
of Publishing Opportunities in Economics and Finance.
Everything in the JBDN web site is intended
to work with older browsers and dial-up connections. We are
gradually changing the article files to PDF, using formats that
should be accessible in both current and older versions (6 or
later) of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
