Sun™ ONE Application Server 7, Update 1 Platform Summary

This document provides the specifics on supported platform components for the Sun™ Open Network Environment (ONE) Application Server 7, Update 1 product.

Operating Systems

This section lists the operating systems that are supported for Sun ONE Application Server 7, Update 1.

Note	The Sun ONE Application Server product is only certified with J2SE1.4.1_01 from Sun Microsystems. Subsequent releases of the Sun ONE Application Server product are expected to be interoperable, but some unexpected problems may arise.

The Linux operating system will be supported in a subsequent release of the Sun ONE Application Server 7 product.

JDBC Drivers and Databases

This section lists the JDBC driver and database combinations that are supported for Sun ONE Application Server 7, Update 1. The combinations listed here have been tested with the Sun ONE Application Server and are found to be J2EE compatible.

Other JDBC drivers have been used with Sun ONE Application Server 7, but J2EE compliance tests have not yet been completed with these drivers. As other drivers are tested successfully with the J2EE Compatibility Test Suite, they will be supported and added to the following table.
