Connecticut Quality Council Offers Half-Day Workshop on the Implementation of Sustainable Change

HARTFORD , CONN – The Connecticut Quality Council (CQC) will offer the half-day workshop “Practical Guide to the Implementation of Sustainable Change” on Wednesday, March 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Rensselaer Hartford Campus. The session is part of CQC's Concepts and Application Workshops and Networking series. Content experts from academia and industry jointly facilitate discussions on Quality Management topics that are being implemented in organizations today.

Instructors for this session are Robert Albright, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Lally School of Management and Technology, Rensselaer; and Gary E. Rosentreter, Ed.D., Executive Director, CQC, and former vice president of training and development with Advo and WellPoint. These experts will share their work and research about the Implementation of Sustainable Change, followed by a guided discussion with the workshop group. Participants are encouraged to bring real issues from their organizations for analysis by other group members and content experts. Networking is a key component of the workshop.

Topics to be discussed during this workshop include: the dynamics of change, key roles in implementing change, an implementation history lesson, managing resistance, communication during change, sustaining implemented change, resilience for surviving change, and sponsorship vs. leadership to sustain change.
