Newsmakers FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 24, 2006 Contact: Robin Micket (860) 548-7894 Stephen Bergeron Appointed Business Analyst, Academic Unit, Department of Engineering and Science, at Rensselaer at Hartford HARTFORD, CONN – Stephen Bergeron was named Business Analyst, Academic Unit, Department of Engineering and Science (DOES), at Rensselaer at Hartford. His responsibilities are to conduct strategic business research and analysis for the Hartford academic department, including the development of business plans and market research studies. In addition, he will also oversee the operating budget for DOES. Mr. Bergeron was previously employed at Eaves Devices and Modular Energy Devices where he worked on designing and prototyping enclosures for subcontracted military applications. He conducted thermal analysis and protection for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) on space station polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). He worked on plastic and sheet metal enclosure designs along with injection molding and thermal and structural analysis. Originally from Westerly, Rhode Island, Mr. Bergeron graduated with distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Design. # # # BACK to News and Events
