Rensselaer at Hartford Offers New Accelerated Master of Science in Management Cohort Program for January 2007

HARTFORD, CONN – The Hartford Campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is offering a new, accelerated Master of Science in Management cohort degree program with a concentration in Innovation and Technology. The new cohort program provides students with the opportunity to earn the 30 credit M.S. in Management degree in approximately one year, with classes meeting on Wednesday evenings and alternating Saturdays.

The program is designed for professionals seeking to complement their technical expertise or specialties with a blend of knowledge and skills in general management and technological innovation. Course content in four major subject areas of Technology Management, Innovation, Analysis, and Leadership, will be presented in an integrated manner to emphasize the interdependence of the disciplines.

Classes begin in early January 2007 and space is limited, therefore, enrollment is based on a first-come, first-accommodated basis. The cohort participants will move through the curriculum as a unified group, which encourages students to collaborate and learn from each other over the course of the program.

Interested candidates are encouraged to attend an Information Session on Wednesday, December 13, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Rensselaer's Hartford Campus. To register for the Information Session or to learn more about the program, please contact Christa Sterling at (860) 548-7842; toll-free at (800) 433-4723, ext.7842; or e-mail: sterlc@rpi.edu. Complete details are also available on the Web at: www.rh.edu/infosessions/oneyearms07/.
