Matthew
J. Guyer, President, Reflexite Americas, to Deliver Commencement Address
at Rensselaer at Hartfords 47th Commencement Exercises
EVENT:
Matthew J. Guyer, President, Reflexite Americas, will address the 424
graduates, their families and friends, and members of Rensselaers
faculty and staff at the Forty-Seventh Commencement Exercises for Rensselaer
at Hartford. Special awards to be presented include the Outstanding
Student Awards and the Computer Science Seminar Conference Awards. The
Honorable Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, President of Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute, Troy, New York, will preside over the ceremony.

ABOUT THE COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER: Matthew J. Guyer joined Reflexite
Corporation in 1989 and held a variety of leadership positions before
being promoted to President of Reflexite Americas in 1997. Mr. Guyer
holds a bachelors degree from Denison University in Ohio and an
M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He received the Outstanding
Student Award at Rensselaer at Hartfords commencement ceremonies
in 1995 and received the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2000. Mr. Guyer
is a member of the Young Presidents Organization, where he serves
as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Yankee Chapter. He is
on the board of the Connecticut Quality Council and is a board member
of the World Affairs Council of Connecticut. Mr. Guyer has twice been
named one of the Hartford Business Journals "Forty
Under 40" award winners.

at the graduate check-in tent.
LOCATION, PARKING, AND DIRECTIONS: Commencement exercises will be
held on the grounds of Rensselaer at Hartford, 275 Windsor Street, Hartford.

INTERESTING STATISTICS FROM THIS YEARS GRADUATING CLASS:
Among the members of the outstanding Class of 2003-2004 are 23 students
receiving their second advanced degree from Rensselaer, one student
receiving a third advanced degree from Rensselaer, four students receiving
dual masters degrees, and one member of the Rensselaer at Hartford
staff receiving a masters degree.
