Events FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 15, 2004 Contact: Robin Micket (860) 548-7894 Rensselaer at Hartford Offers Quality Management Certificate Program The Connecticut Quality Council and the Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer at Hartford have teamed up to present a special five-module, ten-day comprehensive series that focuses on the analysis and improvement of quality and performance. It has been successfully completed by personnel from service, health care, manufacturing, and governmental entities. This program offers an engaging and interactive learning environment geared to anyone in a leadership position. DATES AND TIMES: The five-module, ten-day program will run 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. Module 1: Principles of Quality Management and Leadership - October 6-7, 2004 Module 2: Statistical Quality Methods - October 20-21, 2004 Module 3: Continuous Improvement Techniques - November 3-4, 2004 Module 4: Integration of Lean Management and Quality Systems - November 17-18, 2004 Module 5: Improvement Team Leadership - December 1-2, 2004 LOCATION: Rensselaer at Hartford, 275 Windsor Street, Hartford, Connecticut PROGRAM BACKGROUND: This program will address the specifics of listening to the Voice of the Customer (VOC) while learning solid skills that will allow you to improve your Quality Management practices. From statistical quality methods to communication empowerment, the curriculum will confirm your commitment to Total Quality and the ever changing world of continuous improvement. Whether your goal is to begin preparation for ASQ's Certification in Quality Management (CQM) or to learn how to manage quality in a practical and effective manner, this program will meet your needs.
