| News Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor HARTFORD, CONN - Rensselaer at Hartford is offering review programs for the Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor Examinations. The Fall 2004 exam dates are October 29 and 30 and preparatory classes begin in mid-August. Rensselaer has prepared over 2,000 engineers studying to pass the Fundamentals in Engineering (EIT) Exam; Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Principals and Practices (PE) Exams; and the Land Surveyor Exam. Experts in each of the specific engineering areas review and solve prob! lems judged to be representative of the type and complexity encountered in the examination. Teams of practicing professional engineers and members of the engineering faculty at Rensselaer at Hartford are selected to teach in their specific areas of expertise. Students in the program review study tips and fundamental concepts, in addition to solving problems resembling those on the exams. The course fee includes comprehensive guides that cover both background review topics and sample questions similar to those found on the exams.
