News FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 18, 2003 Contact: Robin Micket (860) 548-7894 Rensselaer at Hartford Offers Quality Management Certificate Program The Connecticut Quality Council and the Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer at Hartford are once again offering the Quality Management Certificate Program (QMCP). This Total Quality program is back by popular demand and is the only QMCP offered in the state of Connecticut. The program will address the specifics of listening to the Voice of the Customer while learning solid skills to improve Quality Management practices. DATES AND TIMES: The five-module, ten-day program will run 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily. Module 1: Principles of Quality Management and Leadership – September 10-11, 2003 Module 2: Statistical Quality Methods – September 23-24, 2003 Module 3: Improvement Team Leadership – October 8-9, 2003 Module 4: Continuous Improvement Techniques – October 22-23, 2003 Module 5: Utilizing Quality Management Models & the Quality System – November 5-6, 2003 LOCATION: Rensselaer at Hartford, 275 Windsor Street, Hartford, Connecticut TOPIC DISCUSSION: Today’s workforce must be supported by people who have the knowledge and ability to integrate the principles and practices of Total Quality into everything they do, in order to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
