Rensselaer at Hartford Employees Honored with Service Awards at Annual Awards Luncheon

HARTFORD, CONN – Rensselaer at Hartford faculty and staff enjoyed a summer celebration cookout to honor employees with service awards at the annual awards luncheon. Alan C. Eckbreth, Vice President and Dean, Rensselaer at Hartford, recognized each employee and presented anniversary thank you gifts from Rensselaer. Incremental five-year service awards were given to the following employees:

The Employee of the Year award was presented to Brian J. Clement of Wethersfield, Chief Information Officer, Technical and Information Services, for his outstanding service and dedication to the Rensselaer community. Nominations were based on the following criteria: serving as a role model for other employees, showing concern for students/customers and their welfare, and adding to the human dimension of Rensselaer.

The Natalie A. Sutera Above and Beyond award was presented to Gary Trail of Bristol, Director, Network Information Systems, Technical and Information Services, to honor him for his unyielding service to Rensselaer for sixteen years. He is on-call twenty-four hours a day, and is responsible for ensuring Rensselaer at Hartford's network is up and running with minimal server downtime.
