Distance education students can borrow books owned by the Cole Library. Search Rensselaer Libraries' Catalog. Once you locate some books that you would like to borrow, contact the library by phone at (860) 548-2490 or (800) 433-4723 x2490 or by e-mail to .

Distance education students can use the Cole Library's interlibrary loan services to borrow books, journal articles, and conference papers that are not available in our collection. Copies can be mailed but interlibrary loan books must be picked up at the Cole Library. Submit your request through ILLiad Interlibrary Loan Request. See Interlibrary Loan for more information.

Distance education students can also access the Cole Library's web-based databases with their Rensselaer at Hartford Network Account login ID and password.
