homepage REQUESTING ADDITIONS TO
THE COLE LIBRARY'S COLLECTION
The Cole Library's goal is to develop a cohesive and responsive collection, both in print and electronic format. Faculty input is key to the successful development of our collection.

We encourage current Rensselaer at Hartford faculty to suggest titles for addition to the Cole Library's collection. All faculty suggestions will be considered within the context of budget restrictions and the needs of the collection. Faculty may submit suggestions in person, via e-mail to .

Do you know a topic you would like to see more books about, but not have specific titles in mind? E-mail us at or come to the library and speak to a reference librarian. Cole Library reference librarians will study book reviews and other sources and develop a list of titles for your review.

For materials relating specifically to one course, remember that reserve lists are an excellent way to expand the library's collection. Before the beginning of each semester, provide the library with a list of titles to place on reserve for your students. We will purchase those titles not yet available in the collection. See Course Reserves for more information.
