Potential students can bring in application materials to any upcoming Open House for an expedited review. Upon receipt of a favorable decision, qualified candidates can register for Spring Term classes, which begin on Monday, January 11, 2010. Advisors will be on hand to discuss curriculum details and answer questions.

To be considered for Admission you must bring:

  • The Application for Admission to Graduate Study (Pages 1 & 2)

  • Unofficial transcript(s)*
  • A current résumé
  • $75.00 Application fee

Candidates applying for Computer Science or Information Technology must also bring the corresponding Background Evaluation Form located in the Application package.

*An admissions decision can be made with your UNOFFICIAL transcript(s). So, if you have a copy in your personal records, or can obtain one from your undergraduate institution's Web site, this will expedite the process. An official copy with your school's seal must be forwarded to us during your first term of study to finalize your file. Be advised, candidates who do not meet or exceed Rensselaer's standard admissions criteria will not be granted admission.
